The pattern faces out, the sherpa faces you
The front is a short dense pile with the pattern pressed into it: cables running the length of the blanket with columns of diamonds standing between them, all of it in one color. What you notice is the shape rather than a print.
The back is white sherpa across the whole width, and it comes round onto the front as a plain white border on all four sides. That border is what keeps the pattern from looking busy, and it is the detail that reads from across the room.
Nothing is printed on it
The cables and diamonds are pressed into the pile itself, so the pattern is made of height and shadow rather than ink. You find it with a hand before you find it with your eyes. Color fastness is rated grade four and it goes in the machine on a cold, delicate cycle.
Nine colors, and the border is white on all of them
Cream, Taupe, Gray and Brown are the ones that sit quietly against oak and off-white walls. Sage and Blue are a shade off neutral and read as color only close up.
Pink, Mauve and Mustard are the ones that decide a room. Mustard in particular is the strongest thing in the range, and against the white sherpa border it stays warm rather than turning brash.
Which of the three sizes
Small is one person in a reading chair and it covers your legs without pooling on the floor. Medium fits a single or a twin across its full width, and it is also the one for two people sharing a sofa.
Large is the bed size. It covers a double or a queen and hangs down both sides instead of stopping level with the mattress.

Care
Machine wash it in cold water on a delicate cycle, on its own.
No bleach and no harsh detergent, and keep it away from other colors in the wash. Tumble dry it on low heat or hang it to dry, and let it dry all the way through before you fold it away.
