The whole face is gathered into a grid of diamonds with a small pleated rosette at every crossing. It is a made bed that looks arranged before you have arranged anything.
The bed is the largest flat surface in the room and it is the first thing anybody sees through the door. Most of what goes on it is plain, and then has to be styled to look like anything.
The pattern is pleated into the cloth, not printed on it
Rows of pinch pleats run diagonally across the cover in both directions, and where two of them cross the cloth is drawn up into a small gathered rosette. The surface catches the light in ridges rather than lying flat, which is why it reads from the doorway and not only close up.
The pillowcases carry the same grid at the same scale, so the set looks like one thing rather than three. Turn the cover inside out and it is plain, flat fabric. The relief is all on the side you see.
A zipper, and a tie in every corner
The opening runs along one end behind a zipper rather than a row of buttons. A zipper closes the whole end in one line; buttons close it at intervals, with the cloth between them left free.
Inside each corner there is a flat tape tie. Knot it to the corner of your duvet once and the duvet is held at all four.
Three colors, and the pattern is the color
Beige and White are the quiet ones, and on both of them the pattern reads entirely as shadow rather than as contrast. Black is the one that turns a made bed into the shape in the room.
What is in the box
The cover and the pillowcases, and how many pillowcases depends on the size. The Single comes with one; Double, Queen, King and Super King all come with two. There is no duvet inside it — this is a cover for the one you already own.

Buy for your duvet rather than for your bed, because a cover has to match what goes in it. Every cover is measured below in inches and centimeters, so you can hold the figures against the label on the duvet you already have.

Care
Wash it on its own, cold, on a delicate cycle.
No bleach and no harsh detergent, and keep it away from other colors in the wash.
Tumble dry it on low heat or hang it to dry, and let it dry all the way through before you fold it away.
