One habit is worth forming. Wet the cups before you lay it down. A dry cup rests on the floor and a wet one seals to it, and that single difference is what separates a mat that holds from one that lifts at the corner.

Which one to buy is a question about your bathroom, not about you

Measure the flat inside of your bath or tray before you choose, rather than the outside of it. The mat has to sit on the level part with every cup closed. Small and Medium are the ordinary bath-length rectangles and one of the two fits most tubs. Large is the deep one, meant for a walk-in tray you stand about in, and Square suits a square stall where a rectangle would ride up the sides.

The water goes through it instead of under it
